Managed hosting for businesses that outgrew shared hosting

Problem

Czech mid-sized businesses are stuck between cheap shared hosting (unreliable, no support) and expensive enterprise cloud (overkill, complex). They need something in between — reliable, personal, local.

Approach

Built a managed hosting platform from scratch — dedicated servers, WordPress hosting, automated backups, monitoring. Personal onboarding and custom solutions per client. SSD performance with geographic backup redundancy.

Outcome

Dozens of businesses on a platform running for years with zero downtime. Clients moved from unreliable shared hosting to enterprise-grade — and still have a direct line to me.

AI phone assistant that never sleeps

Problem

Small businesses — lawyers, dentists, craftsmen — miss calls because they have no receptionist. Missed call = lost customer. Existing solutions are expensive or require complex setup.

Approach

Built an AI phone answering service — picks up calls 24/7, customizable greeting per business. AI converts speech to text, classifies caller intent via LLM, and sends structured summaries via push notification or email. Setup takes 3 minutes.

Outcome

Running service handling thousands of calls monthly. Businesses that used to miss half their calls now never miss a single one. Proof that AI communication automation works in production, not just in demos.

Cheap flight tracker from 10+ portals in one place

Problem

Dozens of flight deal portals exist, each publishing offers in a completely different format and structure. Czech travelers have to check them one by one. No aggregator combined them with filtering for Czech departures and local pricing.

Approach

Built a flight deal aggregator that scrapes 10+ discount portals, monitors prices, and sends notifications. AI replaced thousands of lines of parsing code — every portal has a different structure, but a single AI model extracts offer details (origin, destination, price, date, carrier) at 98% accuracy, with zero source-specific code. Regional filtering for Prague, Brno, Bratislava departures. Full Android app.

Outcome

Thousands of users tracking flights via web and Android app. Adding a new source takes hours instead of days — AI handles any format without new code. Proof that LLMs replace brittle rule-based code in production.

GasStorage CZ — NomSys

Nomination system for the largest gas storage operator in Czechia

Problem

Czech Republic's largest underground gas storage operator (2.7 bcm capacity) needed a digital nomination workflow aligned with gas market principles.

Approach

Designed the nomination process workflow and built integrations with NET4GAS (gas transmission operator) and OTE (electricity and gas market operator).

Outcome

Running nomination system handling 2.7 bcm gas storage capacity, integrated with key Czech gas market operators.

Self-service visitor management for buildings

Problem

Buildings need a modern alternative to traditional reception for visitor check-in — scalable, automated, and secure.

Approach

Helped build a terminal kiosk system — QR codes, video verification, access card issuance. The system fully replaces traditional reception desks.

Outcome

Production system that eliminated the need for a full-time receptionist. Visitors check themselves in — from arrival to access card.

IoT platform — firmware, backend, mobile app

Problem

Product required custom firmware, backend API, and mobile app — three teams that needed coordination under a unified architecture.

Approach

As Tech Lead, drove architecture decisions and coordinated the team. Personally developed the Go module running on the OpenWRT router.

Outcome

Three independent teams (firmware, backend, mobile app) delivered the product as one — thanks to unified architecture and central coordination.

Complete digital transformation of a massage chain

Problem

Thai massage chain with 5 locations in Prague needed digital presence, booking system, and operational tools — from scratch.

Approach

Led complete digital transformation — e-commerce, reservation system, API integrations, hosting and operations. Direct client communication, requirements gathering, translating business needs into technical solutions.

Outcome

10+ years of ongoing partnership. Complete digital operations stack from e-shop to internal tools.

FAMU — Studio Dispečink

Equipment booking system for one of the oldest film schools in the world

Problem

FAMU film school manages hundreds of pieces of professional equipment — cameras, lighting, sound, editing suites, studios. Manual tracking led to double bookings, poor visibility, and administrative burden on reception staff.

Approach

Built a web-based booking system — equipment and facility management, confirmation workflows, automated loan rule enforcement, and time-slot scheduling for studios.

Outcome

Running internal system at dispecink.studiofamu.cz eliminating double bookings and streamlining student access to equipment.

MarketingBright

Internal marketing tools for a Dutch SaaS platform

Problem

Dutch marketing platform needed web-based strategic analysis tools — SWOT, BCG matrix, Business Model Canvas and more — as part of their SaaS product.

Approach

Developed a suite of interactive web tools — strategic matrix visualizations, positioning tools, and analytical templates integrated into the existing platform.

Outcome

Toolset used by businesses, consultants, and students across the Netherlands. Expanded the platform’s offering with strategic analyses it previously lacked.
